New , a wider grille, and a redefined character line are just a few of the changes Audi has made to the 2020 A4 for its mid-cycle refresh.
Audi also took the opportunity to share some details on the new S4 and the brand new S4 TDI. Although we won’t get the TDI here, it comes with a 3.0-liter V6 Diesel engine that makes more than 340 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, getting it to 60 in just 4.8 seconds.
The S4 TFSI, meanwhile, comes with a familiar 3.0-liter V6 that makes nearly 350 hp and 368 lb-ft of torque.
Along with the updated design, Audi will also introduce its 12-volt mild hybrid system into more vehicles. The system, says Audi, manages to add more power while also adding more horsepower and will be introduced into three engine variants in Europe at launch.
Inside, an updated infotainment system makes use of a 10.1-inch screen with acoustic feedback.
Order books open later this month in Europe, but the new model will only make its way to the continent’s dealerships this fall. Expect to come to the US later still.
