The Czech site has leaked the first set of official press shots of the upcoming Q5 facelift set to debut at Auto China on Monday. The refresh will bring the Q5 inline with the rest of the Audi line up with the new grill design and updated DRL LEDs and rear lights. There also seems to be a slight change to the exhaust tips, which are now flat at the bottom to match the reworked rear bumper. We will see a few changes to the exterior and interior color options as seen on the new A4/A5. The refreshed interior will bring new seats, steering wheel and an updated MMI with Audi Connect.
For North America we can expect the 2.0 TFSI, and the 3.0 TFSI will replace the 3.2 FSI, and eventually will be joined by the 2.0 TFSI Hybrid and 3.0 TDI. The hybrid will be rated as the more efficient model as it will produce a slightly higher MPG. While the 3.0 TDI will provide great range with only a slightly diminished MPG rating. The refreshed 2.0 TFSI and 3.0 TFSI models are scheduled to arrive in North America late this year as 2013 models.
