If you have been hanging around this site long enough, you may know that back in August I was able to repurchase my 2001 Audi RS4. I first bought this RS4 back in 2001 when the car was brand new. I had this idea that I could easily import a B5 Audi RS4 and that it wouldn’t take long or cost very much. Well that ended in tears, and costing me over $50k in fees and expenses as well as taking over 4 1/2 years. It was a terrible decision, and nearly broke me.
Thankfully though, my friend Todd Richards bought the car and agreed to give me first right of refusal on it should he ever lose his marbles and sell it. Fast forward to this last September, my unicorn was home again. Even though Todd took amazing care of the car, daily driving for 6 years in Southern California had shown some wear and the car was in desperate need of a professional’s touch.
When you speak of detailing services in the Northwest, there is only one name to bring up. Northwest Auto Salon has established themselves as setting the standard of excellence for automotive detailing and restoration. Owned and operated by a couple of die hard Audi enthusiasts, Northwest Auto Salon has been a mecca for the nicest Audis around Seattle. I don’t think I’ve ever been there when there hasn’t been a nice Audi in some stage of detailing. They also attract some of the rarest and most valuable cars from all over the Northwest. If you are in the area, it is worth a stop just to gaze upon the artwork sitting in their showroom like facility.
In case you were wondering, I’m never going to sell it again. You are going to have to bury me in it.
